Technical Support Specialist (m/f/d)

• Customer Support for Transceivers & Fiber Optics: Handle incoming support requests in a structured, friendly, and solution-oriented way. You'll start with guidance from experienced colleagues and quickly take ownership of cases independently
• Compatibility Testing in the Lab: Work alongside customers and colleagues to test whether our modules operate reliably with different network devices while gaining hands-on insight into how networking equipment really works
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Document your findings in our ticketing system and internal knowledge base. Your work helps the entire team benefit from shared expertise
• Learn on the Job: Optical transmission technology is a broad and exciting field and we'll help you navigate it. With a structured training plan, mentoring, and real responsibility from day one, you'll continuously expand your technical skills

• Completed vocational training in IT or Electrical Engineering (e.g. IT Systems Electronics Technician or Electronics Technician for Information and Systems Technology) or equivalent hands-on experience
• Basic knowledge of networking: You know what a switch is, understand IP fundamentals, and have already configured or at least worked with network devices
• Initial experience with optical transmission technology is a plus, but not a requirement. We'll teach you everything you need to know
• Strong language skills – either German at B1 level and English at B2 level, or German at B2 level and English at B1 level. What matters most is confident communication in both languages, both written and spoken
• A passion for technical detail, patience when troubleshooting, and the confidence to ask questions when something isn't clear
